Greenfield Cooperative Bank Senior Leadership Team Trades Suits for Paint Brushes at Pioneer Valley Habitat Build

The senior leadership team at Greenfield Cooperative Bank demonstrated their deep commitment to being rooted in the community. They traded their suits for paint brushes and joined forces with Pioneer Valley Habitat for Humanity to help put some finishing touches on a new home being built by dozens of community volunteers alongside the future homeowners.

“At GCB, we are committed to giving back to the communities we serve,” said Tony Worden, President & CEO. “Habitat for Humanity’s mission of creating affordable homeownership opportunities aligns perfectly with our values, and we’re honored to be a part of building a brighter future with the family who will live in this home.”

The GCB leadership team rolled up their sleeves and picked up rollers and brushes to put a coat of paint on the interior walls of the home. By day’s end the entire home gleamed with a fresh coat of paint, a testament to the team’s dedication and hard work. This hands-on effort followed a previous commitment of $10,000 from Greenfield Co-op towards the project.

“Working alongside our team to help paint this home was incredibly rewarding,” said Jane Wolfe, Executive Vice President – Residential Lending. “This experience solidified our commitment to supporting Pioneer Valley Habitat’s mission, and I can’t wait to see this family thrive in their new home.”
